The Long Island Marathon/Half Marathon/10K, although not an LIRRC event, appear on the calendar as a courtesy for our members. Contact the Nassau County Parks Dept. (516-572-0200) or visit the web site for the Long Island Marathon.
The Wednesday night summer series is scheduled as follows for each week, May 22nd to August 14th.
- 6:30 PM – Youth 1/2 Mile Fun Run – – Fee $1.00, Ribbons to all participants.
- 7:00 PM – 5 K Race (unless otherwise noted above).
- Online Registration with limited Day-of-Race Registration.
- All club races start at the Field House located behind the tennis courts, near parking field #2 in Eisenhower Park (off Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow).
- 5-Year Age Group Awards 3 Deep – Up to 80+.
- All events are sanctioned by USA Track & Field and Long Island Road Runners Club on certified courses
- Walkers and physically challenged welcome
- Races are subject to change or cancellation due to park activity.
- MAIN RACES: For 2024
